VITO is attending the General Assembly meeting of M18 of PLANHEAT in Velika Gorica, one of the validation cities of PLANHEAT. PLANHEAT will develop and validate an integrated and easy-to-use tool to support local authorities in selecting, simulating and comparing alternative low carbon and economically sustainable scenarios for heating and cooling. Only one out of eight building roofs in Flanders have solar panels installed. Flemish government therefore developed together with VITO a Solar map (zonnekaart) to explore the potential of solar energy.
